The holistic Ayurveda classifies the diseases based on the Dosha imbalances in a body. The three doshas which govern the body functioning are the Vata, Pitta and the Kapha. The condition called Endometriosis is observed when the endometrium lining shed by the uterus builds up outside causing painful symptoms including pelvic pain, menstruation, and cramps. The imbalance in Kapha is known to cause this condition, but the remaining Doshas also govern the overall functioning of the reproductive organs in the women.

The process of shedding the endometrium lining is controlled by the Pitta dosha which regulates the uterine blood flow. Whereas, the growth of the lining is controlled by the Kapha. The Vata plays a prominent role in regulating the hormonal efficiency thereby affecting the overall process of menstruation. Hence, a dosha imbalance in the Vata, Pitta, and Kapha may cause chronic endometriosis development outside the uterus.

Any treatment in the Ayurveda recommends measures to balance the vitiated Dosha and focus on the specific organ with Kinchit Artasya Rognut medications. Use of potent herbs like Yashtimadhu, Shilajeet, Arjuna, etc., is recommended in treating endometriosis. A chronic or severe case of endometriosis requires one to cleanse the system of the toxic accumulation in the body. This cleansing is done via the detoxification techniques of the Ayurveda.

At Khokar, the cell detoxification and regeneration therapy works on similar lines. The detoxification and assimilation of the organ tissues using nutrients from the body help one rejuvenate the body organs and maximise the optimacy and function. The Herbo Mineral Formula is prepared using the Rasayana Shastra Chikitsa. The Charaka mentions the use of Kinchit Artasya Rognut medication for treating a condition specific to an organ. The Rasayana Chikitsa is based on the rejuvenation of the cells and tissues of the body to enhance the functioning. The Rasayana Chikitsa gives utmost importance to proper diet as the nutrients used for tissue rebuilding are derived from the diet consumed.

Hence, when undergoing treatment at Khokar, following the diet guidelines is important. Additionally, one may avoid certain kinds of foods which vitiate the Kapha which is primary Dosha governing the build-up of the endometrium.

Avoid cold drinks, fried foods, fatty meal and dry foods. These foods vitiate the Kapha dosha in a body. Stick to the diet suggested by the Ayurveda practitioner to get optimum results.

Avoid holding natural urges. This may affect adversely and imbalance more than one Dosha at a time.

Avoid sexual intercourse during menstruation.
