Before searching for a cure to the Premature ejaculation problem, it is good to understand this condition. Premature ejaculation or PE commonly referred to as early ejaculation is more an emotional issue than a physical condition. In some cases, there is an improvement when delaying techniques are practised by the man. It is more about controlling the oncoming orgasm through one of the many techniques. Try the following techniques to check if you really suffer from serious PE.

Kegel Exercise

This exercise is basically recommended to strengthen the pelvic muscles in a person. The pubococcygeus (PC) muscles in men are responsible for ejaculation. You can feel this muscle at work when you stop the urine flow. Once you are able to demarcate the PC muscles, keep exercising them to gain better control over the ejaculation process. Let your concentration remain on the PC muscles, not the buttocks or the thighs. Exercise this holding and releasing for a duration of 10 seconds, give a break for about 5 seconds in between the exercises. Repeat the process thrice to master control. When successful you will be able to control the oncoming orgasm by holding the PC muscle.

Squeeze to gain control

You can squeeze the base of the penis to weaken the erection and delay the ejaculation. An oncoming orgasm can be controlled by squeezing the base. During the sexual intercourse, the partner may try to do this to delay the early ejaculation.

Start-Stop the oncoming orgasm

To practice this technique one must masturbate to feel the approaching orgasm and then stop all stimulation to control the ejaculation. Practice it again by applying your self-stimulating techniques and stop again right before reaching an orgasm. Repeat this until you can push the orgasm’s point-of-no-return to a normal value. You may want to practise it with your partner when you have mastered this during solo masturbation sessions.

Meditative breathing

Deep breathing helps one calm the emotions faster. Meditative breathing requires one to shift all focus on to the rhythm of the breathing. During a sexual encounter if the breathing becomes shallow indicating an approaching orgasm, stop all stimulation, and breathe deeply for at least five minutes. Concentrate on your partner to distract yourself from the orgasm. In order to delay the PE, an understanding partner is an important necessity. It is important that one builds a strong emotional relationship before engaging into the sexual acts.
