Sexual dysfunction is characterised by the inability to reach/cross a stage of the sexual response cycle. The sexual response cycle begins with the excitement, reaches the plateau , scales the orgasm and then attains the resolution phase. Inability to cross over each phase of the cycle can be generically termed as sexual dysfunction. The statistics claim that about 31% of men and 43% of women face sexual dysfunction at any stage of the cycle.
